I say we should just set up a group chat in Steam, used that a lot while playing dota and its solid and has proper mic options of course.

Sorry about the loud volume there Woken, prior to you joining I sat for like 15 minutes trying to get the volume right, the only real way to test is ask everyone else how loud or soft it is.

Me: "Hello?"
Teamies: "MY EARS THEY BLEED! TURN IT DOWN!"
Me: "And now?"
Teamies: no response

etc.

Also found this on the 2k boards. A server browser better than the ingame one, could be useful for finding games in the future when more SA guys get it:

Didn't realise Steam had group chat, can try it tonight. Trying to get the volume right with no feedback is impossible, especially when I need to talk softer when the GF heads to bed and I need to turn my mic volume up.

That server browser looks handy, will give it a bash this weekend when more people get the game.

Hehe. The trick is playing with people who aren't the same class. I let everyone grab the cool stuff, but you touch sniper rifles, pistols, or revolvers and KAAA KAAA *bloodwing on your nuts*.

Sadly it doesn't work like that. Weapons aren't class specific.

But we have a gentlemen's agreement that berserker gets explosive stuff, soldier gets assault rifles, and I get sniper rifles. Works out well.
