However if you take a person that can or has committed these acts they are not your normal Tsar or Eugene posting here on mybb. These people are already at such a state that something has changed them to do this or they just need the final straw to snap and produce lunacy.
Whether its rapeplay, GTA or stairway to heaven it can serve as a catalyst towards the final act or make up the whole psychotic beliefs the person hold. We can always throw in the religious angle here and see how many has act on them because out of those [good] beliefs they based on and finally forming their own perversions.
Yes sure I've played, I've watched, I've listened, I've read the spectrum there is, but I've not committed any acts based on them.
However they can to a degree linger in your subconscious and whether or not you want to believe it... they can if you let them influence your thinking patterns which altars your actions. Just that media (game, movie, music etc) might add to it or could be from what the ideals are built on and it takes a certain type of person for this to happen to. So it is actually it is kinda stupid to just say its the games fault or how on earth can they blame a game, I wouldn't do it and I played this or that...
