And thats why you shouldn't leave your valuables out of your sight...

Surprised she didn't take anything else from her bag behind her.

I do not condone stealing in any shape or form, but seriously why leave your purse / bag open like that?

Whenever we go to a shopping mall, i have taught my wife to keep her bag closed and zipper facing forward. Thieves will use any gap you give them

Very sad that a child so young with a bright future and so called equal playing field has to be subjected to this by handlers. It just disgusts me.

My cousin who was also very young loved to steal shit. I use to argue with my aunt so much about it. Never punished the child so I said good luck and if she ends up in prison don't come crying to me.

I have to admit I did steal something when I was that age, I had quick hands so no one could see me take something, stole a few of those little balsa jets with the plastic propellers.

Something I wouldn't do again after learning the consequences of what would happen if caught so hopefully the child learnt the lesson.

Won't they still get into your bag or do you have a lock on it

Its harder for them to crawl under the table un noticed. . . I have never had anything stolen out of my bag. I have had necklaces ripped off my neck at robots. But it is harder to get to a handbag under the table by my feet without someone feeling something weird. Also always carry my bag across my body with the bag in front of me and a hand on it at all times.
