So AcidRazor wants to build his dad an über-machine for MAME's like we're all used to playing at the Corner Deli for 20c a pop!

Now it's gotten me wondering...

a) Where did I leave my keys,
b) Is using roms still considered illegal considering that it's vintage software, some of which is already over 20 years old. Apart from that - back then there were NO pirated tv-games - so if we get roms of the games we had back then it should be ok, no?

Anyway... we all had our 4GB of roms back in the day and I'm sure we have some experts among us to give avid rommers out here a few tips on the best rom sites/emulators/etc.

I've also never managed to find a rom of my favourite game I had back then - Star Wars, side view playing through "Ep IV - A new hope" (not the crappy top view one of Episode 5)
