Yes, but this is ridiculous. I'm supposed have the basic specs to play this game, and all graphic options are set to Low, and it still runs piss-poorly.

I have a GTX 780, an i7 and 12GB RAM and it's running piss poorly for me too. But ok, if it's too crappy to play, rather wait for the full release

I changed the Resolution scale in the Menu to 75%. It looks more pixelated, but it's now playable.

Eish bru, I did that as well to see what it looks like, but it was ugly as hell. Couldn't even make out the difference between a concrete block and a person. It's like playing games in 640x480 all over again.

Glad im not the only one, at least i can now join servers after the last patch, but on ANY graphic setting im getting heavy framedrops. I did some troubleshooting last night, enabled perfoverlay.drawgraph 1 and everytime i had drop my CPU jumped through the roof, I believe its because DICE optimised the game for Windows 8, most people having issues are running Windows 7 or older.

Yup I think so too. It's definitely something CPU related, and they're still tweaking all that stuff.

Before the patch, if you set bf4.exe's priority to low, it would make little to no difference in the performance, but now after the patch, doing that drop the frames to like 30fps. So they definitely did some CPU related tweaking in the new patch. But ya, all that will be sorted with the release so I'm not that worried. Taking the beta with a pinch of salt right now. It's playable in some form at least. Enough to experience the general feel of the game so I'll have it for the time being

the bit I played yesterday I enjoyed, but then when I wanted to noobtube someone in the face my game crashed. So went and played some other games. Also taking the beta with a pinch of salt, otherwise it will just spoil the game for me.
