Default 19 new political parties in South Africa

Nineteen new political parties have been registered on a national level with the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) over the past nine months.

Prominent among this group are Mamphela Ramphele's Agang SA, Julius Malema's Economic Freedom Fighters, and the Workers and Socialist Party.

The lesser-known parties include the Lekgotla for Democracy Advancement, the International Revelation Congress (IRC), and the Poelano Revelation Party.

Looks like a pile of left leaning commie parties to me. I shall have to stock up on "In soviet russia..." jokes.

Also, you know crime is bad when there are enough security workers to be a political force...

Lol....all the new parties are actually doing us a favour...by stealing votes from the ruling party, we spread thev otes...means less chance of 66%domination by ANC to rule unchallenged again... so here is to hoping.

Doesn't help if the opposition is so divided it can't even request toilet break at parliament
