    Former police chief and convicted criminal Jackie Selebi, who was released on medical parole in 2012 in a reportedly critically ill state, was photographed shopping in Pretoria, Beeld reported on Monday.

    He was chauffeured in his luxury BMW 6-series to a shopping centre in Monument Park to buy the Sunday papers.

    Selebi spoke to a few shoppers before he bought his newspaper.

    He is supposed to be in bed sick yet he is able to do his shopping and golf, wonder what he is taking would love to know .

    I would loooove for SARS look into the medical parole board members finances...I'm sure they'll be pleasantly surprised at what they find.

    And the most annoying part, its clear he isn't dying so he should go back to jail now that the treatment is working. Medical parole is so you can die within the next month with your family.

    Problem I think is that once you are medically paroled, there is no going back. The serious questions need to be put to the parole board.
