The review I read on IGN, the reviewer did say that it's a brilliant experience, but that the narration and artistic direction does not give a great gaming experience. It's more like an interactive movie he eluded to. I think a lot of the lowers scores are based on that fact.Originally Posted by TheAvenged87
Yeah I read that same review. Quantic Dream have very ambitious games and I did have a lot of fun with Heavy Rain. I think perhaps it is one of those games where you either get it or you don't.
I think this is really something that I should look into, I like off-beat things.
Side note: someone on Twitter called it an Ellen Paige simulator. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I guess it depends on whether they prefer playing games or watching them.
I don't really mind the occasional game that is actually a very long, sort-of interactive film. Like MGS4, Heavy Rain, etc.

Games with such play-styles I usually prefer to watch others play (e.g unrelated but similarly feeling; Metal Gear Solid), but this is an exception to that rule.
I liked Fahrenheit, Heavy Rain and the Walking Dead. So I don't see why a wouldn't like this one. I also have no problem with QTE's
Yep, if this game is anything like Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain, I'd be happy. It may not be a very traditional type of game, but the story is usually pretty awesome... Now if only Kalahari can deliver my game already.
This is what I'll be doing this weekend. Haven't done any gaming in quite a while.
