A good welcome and assist in any troubles they may encounter on the forum.

I do get quite annoyed when veteran members tune a noob for commenting on a thread thats younger than a month, shouting thread necro and all that. Can't remember what it was but there was one poor guy who commented on a 4 day old thread only to be slagged off for it.

Perhaps we need to self-regulate as well. If we see this happening we need to call out this behavior.

Would you mind linking to the post, rather than the page? Not everybody views the same number of posts per page, so what might be page 5 for you is probably page 1 for me.

That will work. If you want to link directly to a specific post, you can get the link on the top right, for example for this post it will be the #29, copying and pasting that will link people directly to it.

I think you are referring to Lyt and Ike's posts? I don't think their responses are great, but as a community we need to agree on and the challenge bad behaviour.
