Take into account this is till with immature drivers against cards with perfect drivers...things are really looking up for AMD.

Titan still seems like the boss though, which is awesome for those guys who paid an arm and a leg for that thing

true TITAN is still better overall. But it costs more than R9 290X . Rather save that money and still get similar performance. Then again Geforce drivers always give some ridiculous improvements at periodic times that really make you glad you on Nvidia. And also the R9 280X is literally more than half as cheap as a TITAN and only 30% less powerful. That's a deal I can jump on any day !

Wow, nearly Titan performance! Now let's see how much that ~$600 translates into for us Rand users.

It'll be on par with 780 costs. Depending on brands.
Expect the asus cards to be R1500-R2000 more than other brands...they somehow think they can charge a premium for the exact same thing..lol

Has anyone got any benches like these for the R9 270X O.C powercolor vs the 660 or 660ti

The R9 270X is essentially a reskinned HD7870 GHz Edition. And it's on par with a 660 Ti and faster than a GTX660. PC Perspective did a nice review and sums things up quite well. TechpowerUp also has much longer FPS graphs to give you an idea how things have improved compared to older generations and cards in lower price brackets.
