Default Openweb or Afrhost capped account for gaming

Now I know there's a thread about mweb vs afrihost, but that isn't the question. I've given up on mweb, mainly due to the price of their uncapped accounts, and I'm going capped from November onwards.

I was dead set on Afrihost capped, but now I see Openweb has done the same thing and reduced their capped accounts similarly. http://mybroadband.co.za/news/adsl/8...s-slashed.html

So now my options are Afrihost or Openweb. I'll admit I've never had a problewm with Afrihost, and Im leaning in their favour due to the recent comps and stuff, so they've shown they care about gaming and the gaming community. But then again, I've never heard anything bad about Openweb...in fact, I've hardly heard anything from them.

What are your thoughts? Afrihost or Poenweb?

I can't attest to Openweb capped, but I'm on Openweb uncapped and gaming has been near perfect for me. While playing I see others on different ISP's complain about lag and I'm still going A OK.

That said, I have a 1GB Afrihost account too and never had latency issues on there either.

I'm with Afrihost and I am very happy with them. They have great service and the network is good. Low pings and on a capped account you should not have shaping issues. I play Black Ops 2 and The Last of Us online and I've happy with the performance.

Check this link out for the ISP's with the best pings:

As far as I know, both prioritize gaming on their networks, so you shouldn't see much difference either way.
