Two men were shot dead in illegal electricity fight
Two men were shot dead during clashes with municipal officials attempting to disconnect illegal electricity supply at an informal settlement, the Sunday Tribune reported on Sunday.
According to the newspaper, Malizo Fakaza and Nhlanhla Mkhize were killed during clashes between eThekwini municipal officials and residents at the New Germany informal settlement in Durban's Reservoir Hills suburb.
In all, nine people, including Fakaza and Mkhize, were shot by security guards.
Well I suppose thats one way of fixing the problem. Shooting them seems a bit drastic though.

I saw the title and had this awesome mental image of dudes with electrified whips hitting each other and then some dude arrived with a gun and it was a mexican standoff with 2 guys and their bad-ass crackling lightning whips and another dude with a magnum...

and then I read the article, and that sort of bummed me out.
Shouldn't have been stealing cables though, not in a township. They would have gotten their ass whipped much worse...
