    Default Need some help with memory

    Guys need some help here
    so far i have 2 x 4Gb Transcend 1333Mhz memory is it fine to add Team Xtreem 2133Mhz to them...
    my mobo is the Gigabyte Z77-D3H
    i7 3770k @ 3.5GHz |Gigabyte Z77-D3H |Gigabyte HD7850 2GB 256bit |16GB 1333MHz |OCZ Vector 128GB |WD Green 750GB |TT V3 Black Edition |TT 550W |Gigabyte M6980X & MP8000 |

    as long as it fits, the board should automatically clock down to the speed of the slowest memory.

    *If you start experiencing issues, it then could just be incompatibility problems between the different makes/brands, try them individually at this point.

    will be getting them by the weekend...I'd try them and see if anything happens

    What sizes are you getting? If you are getting 4gig or more you might to test the performance running them without the 1333's (yeah, I know that does cause a warm and fuzzy feeling). If you have software do performance testing. With both in, and separately to see if you are getting what you want.

    RAM speeds only affect overclocking performance. Not real world and gaming performance.

    Please do make sure the the CLI's of both the old and the new are the same otherwise the RAM gets out of sync and will crash your system.

    i got 2x4Gb of the Team Xtreem...
    used memtest86 and it passed with no errors...
    got them in my rig from Friday afternoon and no problem so far...
