    I would say Piracy is a HUGE influence on that declining trend, me i buy less console games than Pc games
    Have bought about 30 Games this year most of them Collectors edition's (i think it depends on where they do there study's )

    Wat?!? Piracy has been around for ages, you will need to provide a reason why its caused a decline recently.

    I personally take these studies with a pinch of salt. Fairly certain it was only a few months ago there was an article saying its growing.

    That makes no sense if the split PC and digital...
    With internet speeds rising so is the use of digital purchases.

    PC games are relatively cheaper than console games,so it's quite surprising(even though there is piracy around) why the PC gaming industry in dropping.

    I don't think it's really dropping. These guys don't even consider services like Steam, which I think is growing quite significantly, and Valve doesn't release sales figures, so for al we know the PC gaming scene might be growing at a substantial rate.

    That's a good point.I mean sales in graphics cards and gaming hardware is expensive for a reason,it's cause there is a big demand for it.

    I haven't bought a game in ages in that case, if they not including steam.

    Last physical game I bought was back in 2009, yet my game library has grown at an average of 3 games per month since then.

    Uplay, Origin and Steam libs are filling up nicely.
