Default [VC] NVIDIA drops prices on GeForce GTX 780 and GTX 770 graphics cards

NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 780 will receive a price cut over $100. I don’t have any exact number yet, but this would suggest a price between $549 to $529 (to be confirmed).

NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 770 will now cost around $50 less, which would be around $359-349.

These prices won't be reflected locally until next year some time as there is more than enough stock brought in at a higher price.
Although its awesome for Nvidia to do this, its epic in the sense that AMD forced them into doing this. For the 1st time since the 285GTX Nvidia have been forced to drop pricing to compete. All in all good news for us gamers, well the international ones seeing as they already benefit from the price drops.

Indeed. AMD actually lowered their prices after this and then NVidia dropped theirs some more.

This is fantastic for the end user. And I'm able to buy my GPUs through Amazon.co.uk for the cheapest price (excluding going through a supplier).

NVidia also added 2/3 bonus games for people buying new cards. (ACIV: Black Flag, Splinter Cell and Batman AO). Do you think this'll force AMD to do another Never Settle games bundle for the R9 and R7 series cards?

Personally, I hope so. Add Tomb Raider (for TressFX), Bioshock Infinite (promote the new DLC) and BF4 (for Mantle obviously) and I'm sold.

It'll come, they planned for it right at the start. Their new image won't survive without retaining the Never Settle campaign.

So far as I can see, the Nvidia promotion only applies to the US territories :/
The difference between pizza and your opinion is that I asked for pizza.

    I'm looking at another R9 270 to run in X-fire but what a hard decision to make R9 270 or a P280
Seeing as my HAF 932 Has seen it's days of many lans and many moves, and it is 8 years old now.

And i think some of the suppliers might (that's a small might) but i spoke to pinnacle and sounds like they
will be doing a Christmas special. maybe that will push some of the high end AMD cards a bit down too
