is that the latest update? The last update I did was like 1.7GB

It's version 1.06 (I think) - apparently it's MP DLC ? Still - some people were reporting 2 GB and others 5 GB - mine was 5GB but downloaded really fast for something that size.

Can't BT from work - what's the PC price during the sale? R299?

It's still R400+ on their site.

LIVE LITTLE THREAD....LIVE!!!!

So I'm resurrecting this thread because I have a problem. I recently went through a 6 gig update of the game, after a fresh new install, and it seems as if the game is still not working for me. After the first initial screen, it fades to black, and stays there without ever leaving. I've left it to load but to no avail.

So I've been on the internet but can't really find a solution to this problem. I've tried the uninstall and reinstall, updating drivers and stuff, and tried downloading and installing the update again, but still no use. Any suggestions?

I went on the internet, and I found this...

Ive had crash on startup after running it once and tried manny things. but it seems if i double click ac4 in steam and then click back to steam so that uplay and the game opens in the background THEN just click the toolbar icon of ac4 to switch over it works. no idea why but its good enough for me until theres a patch or a better fix

I've been trying to find a solution to this stupid patch problem and I noticed that the DataPC_patch.forge file is always being redownloaded after verifying files.
So I renamed this file and started the game to see what happens. And it WORKS!!!!

and the fix on KAT now says that apparently patch 1.02 fixes that problem
