So first up we have the case...and I'm going with the Cooler Master CM Storem Stryker Gaming Case. The power will be provided by a Corsair Professional Platinum AX1200i 80+ Fully Modular PSU.
Not to be too greedy, I'm sticking with the affordable Intel Core i7 477K CPU, with a Corsair H100i water cooling unit keeping the temps to a low. These components will find their home in the Asus Maximus IV Extreme Z87 motherboard, because who DOESN'T want a mobo that has the words "Maximus" and "Extreme" in the name. RAM is pushed to a measly 32GB DDR3 2400Mhz, but there is some method in my madness I promise...
And so the GPU's, well obviously there is only one option, and that is not 1, not 2, but 3 AMD Sapphire R9-280X cards. I believe you will not really have a problem with next gen gaming on these...
Now disc space I made my first bold decision...I put 4 Vector 512GB SSD! That's 2TB of SSD awesomeness...
Obviously a Blu-Ray Writer will be added to the mix (yeah, people do still use discs from time to time)
And now, the windows to the soul of the PC; the screens. Please note the plural, as this machine demands to have at least 2 screens. So I picked 2 Dell UltraSharp 27" LED monitors. You may have to buy new desks, but at R100k, that's a minor consideration...
I noticed that the motherboard has 4 PCI-E slots, but only 3 GPU's. And you cannot expect ANY slots not to be filled on this beast of a machine. So why not a Soundcard, for all you audiophiles out there. I added the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD PCIe card. To complement that baby, add a Creative Inspire S2 2.1 Wireless Speaker System, and these are chosen for 2 reasons. One, the are wireless, and that is just awesome; and two, they are frieken wireless. What's not to love about them!!!
Next up we have the additional equipment. We will add a Seagate Backup Plus Desk 3TB 3.5" External Drive to add all the series and movies and game install files; we add a NZXT Sentry 2 Touch Screen Fan Controller & Temperature Display because it's awesome. We add from the same company some NZXT Sleeved LED Case Lighting - Blue to pimp it to the max.
The peripherals are all handles by Razer; Razer Deathstalker Ultimate Expert Gaming Keyboard, Razer Ouroboros Expert Wireless Gaming Mouse, Razer Ironclad Surface Pad, and some Razer Chimaera T1 5.1 Gaming Headset for those nights of late night "gaming".
To round off the package, I throw in Microsoft Windows 8 Pro, and to keep all those nasty bugs away, ESET NOD32 Anti-Virus. You will probably need it some sooner or later (and there is some budget left), so we'll throw in Microsoft Office 2013 Pro as well.
And there you have it, a full PC worth a price of R99207, so not only is it awesome, but you'll have enough budget left to buy a game or two or three to test this beast out on.
