I think we'd all agree piracy is wrong and is ruining the industry. We've all seen how its affected PC gaming for the worse and turn a premium gaming platform into a haven of horrible ports.Originally Posted by crazydude

Piracy will go wherever the games are. If the games aren't on the PC (where it is the most convenient to pirate as you don't even have to burn discs), it will go to the consoles. There really is no anti-piracy mechanism, hardware or software that cannot be bypassed. With every generation of consoles getting closer and closer to becoming laptops, its just getting easier.
I do suspect though, some angry people may have put in some extra effort to make this happen to spite IW/Activision for the PC mess.

I also had a quick look at that, thousands of people are downloading and sharing the game at this very moment.
The only matter of concern for those pirates is the possibility of being banned from xbl.
Just unplug the internet connection when playing it. Simple.
