R300,000 dagga arrest
A man was arrested in Soweto on Wednesday morning for possession of dagga with a street value of R300,000, Gauteng police said.
"Police this morning received information of a man who was allegedly transporting dagga to Soweto," Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said.
When the man arrived at the house where he would offload the drugs, police were waiting for him.
Five 80kg bags of dagga were confiscated.
