Don't remind me, but I might wait a bit before this one. I'll wait for patches and a price drop then move in.

This is ridiculous. You use Frostbite 3 to produce a RACING GAME!!!! And the result is 30FPS locked? With the excuse that this is the best experience for the consumer? Give me a break

Eish, NFS has been making buggy games lately (Most Wanted 2012, now this). I pre-ordered the game for PC, I guess I will have to see when I get it tomorrow.

Why do they put a frame-lock rate on? Well for me, it doesnt make a difference since my laptop just reaches 30fps with these new games . I just imagine the people with the serious GPU's being pissed off.

Please, I really hope Ghost Games will patch up all the issues in their game and not abandon support like Most Wanted 2012.

It is NFS! What did you all expect? It has been crap since Pro Street, and when Black Box took over development it got worse.
It needs to die, then arise from the ashes.

Also have a look at NBA 14 vs NBA2K14 its shocking that EA released it, and NFS, BF4 and FIFA14, wait I am starting to see a trend here. Any one want to guess what it is?

Okay, I said I'd give my opinion once I'd bought it. And as far as unskippable cutscenes go, that was patched in the first day. As for the 30fps cap, I really couldnt care. The game looks awesome and runs silky smooth and is entirely satisfying. My only gripes would be that 6 humans per map is far too little and some AA options would be great, but you can use the nvidia or AMD control panel to fix that.
People can complain as much as they want, but while they are sulking and complaining, I am having a lot of fun! Isn't having fun what's important?

To be fair fun is the end goal of our entire hobby in general; But we have long since gone past the point where you can sacrifice production value just for fun. Sometimes it isn't enough to just go 300kph+ , you also need to know that the machine at your feet is a less of a soulless machine and more a marvel of art and ingenuity.

Other than the locked frame-rate and un-skippable scenes are there any other issues. The locked frame rate for the average gamer just doesn't seem like a major issue to me. Complaining about the game not working if you override it seems pointless to me.
