It's tough! I just recently showed a mate Forza who had only played GT exclusively, and he loves Forza now, but still a die hard GT fan.
It's kinda a difficult question to answer. With owning both consoles and both games, I still can't decide. I have been playing GT6 exclusively since its release, I jacked up Forza this past weekend and now I feel like jamming that tonight.

They're both very different disciplines, and both do things better in different aspects. Give me a shout if you need some assistance or verbal direction!
