Personally I would go PC now and then pick up a PS4 in a year or two when the prices are more reasonable and the games library is actually worth something.

Currently I game on both PC and PS3 and down the road I plan to add PS4 to that list as well.

a console might be cheaper initially, but if you buy games regularly you are going to exceed the cost of a pc very quickly, where console games are on avg R600-R700 pc games are maybe R500 and the prices drop much faster not to mention all the bundles and other specials that happen for pc titles

No one is putting a gun to your head to buy on release. I've gotten about all my console titles a few months later at better pricing, not to forget lending or second hand.

True enough that lending does make things somewhat cheaper; But I have seen that certain 2nd hand titles for console cost roughly as much as the brand new PC counterpart

Awesome, so I think I've decided on coming back to PC

I think as of right now PC makes the most sense to me, Uncharted 4 will only land end of next year so yeah, I think I'm really happy with PC going forward

Thanks a lot guys for helping me decide, it's really been a touch decision...

You already made your choice but I think this would have answered your question perfectly:
