Quake 1 server

Hey guys.

I am itching for some Quake 1 action and during the Dec holidays, I have access to server with a static IP.

Would anyone be interested in a Quake 1 server? (Quake 2 as well perhaps?)

If so, what would you guys prefer.

Server wise, FTE, old skool style QuakeWorld, Darkplaces?
Gametype, Deathmatch, deathmatch, deathmatch or team deathmacth? :P

Haven't played it in years, but I would be very keen on a good deathmatch game.

I remember homing rockets and pipe bombs instead of grenades...

Then there were the Q2 mods, like Chaos, and QPong.
