DayZ Standalone pre-Alpha - Finally here

Matthew from NAG is apparently busy talking to BI about a server, but so far none yet.

Now that it's here, I have no desire to buy it, though. IMO the standalone overshot its optimal release window by more than a year and to top it off, the $30 price point is really unattractive for me. Maybe I'll reconsider in January.

I dunno arch have you tried days on arma 3 yet as I believe the 2 are very similar?

Well the closest thing was ARMA 3 Breaking point. But we didnt have local servers so couldnt really judge.

As far as Iv'e heard and seen there was a significant bug that forced the devs to question the entire architecture of the game and that was the the reason for the hold backs on the release.
