    Do we still need to download steam in addition to getting dota 2? It's such a las because I have no idea how team works? (Do I need to update it? How do I configure it? etc etc) I just wanna be able to play dota 2 without all that extra fluff.

    Steam is easy to install. Just install it, create a steam account, login, once successfully logged in, within the Store page search for Dota 2, click on Install Game and follow the prompts.

    very easy, not a big las, once you've setup your steam account.

    I don;t think the influx of new players will be as large as anticipated; Considering there are over 6 million players that have it already. The spike will be minimal at best
