If that was really your line speed, the download would take almost no time at all.

I think you meant a 1mb account, which downloads at approximately 100kb/s.

But 1mbps = 1mb/s, downloads at approx 100kB/s

I did the following:

1. Buy game
2. Initiate download (download for 5 minutes or so on pc (home) where you will play this)
3. Stop origin and exit
4. Copy files from another source to your newly created download location, overwriting the files
5. Start origin
6. Origin will check the download, and may download a few more files to get the game up to date / do the check / etc.

this works. I did this with BF3 and only had to download about 1gb
