Default Gpu issues with bf4 and latest nvidia drivers

After the latest nvidia driver updates 331.82 bf4 started crashing like a boss and sometimes my pc fails to post. 1 long 3 short beeps indicating gpu problems. No oc done bought from TheJoker in 2012, the gpu is a PNY GTX670 3gb edition.

Any ideas? Can i Rma the card? Or should i somehow get the money again and buy AMD this time round?

    😞

can you not roll back to the previous working driver? Did you have problems before you updated?

definately not driver related ! check to see it the pci-x connector 6 or 8 pin (from the psu) is properly secured on the card, sometimes it can get a bit loose and then the card doesnt have enough power available

Same issue here, and the bf 4 crashing is driver related, my 780ti also crashes after the last driver update.

The Joker, I didn't know you switched over to the green team. Good on you

I'm using a 780 Ti with the latest drivers as well but luckily I have no issues. Guys have tried resetting their GPU and CPU clocks but it still hasn't helped.

    Really unfortunate for you guys

Because i read in rare cases the drivers cause the vrms to overheat 😐

Its the drivers and not your rigs, its the drivers. Roll back to the 311.06 drivers which is a simple and pure driver with no Shield, Vision, Streaming and no Experience until Nvidia can sort out all the problems with the latest drivers. At least you will be able to game decently till this is sorted out.

Seems i got it sorted, used driver cleaner downloaded from guru3d,
Turned off my 8120's turbo core and ran a fresh install with 331.82

Seems stable thus far. If any issues pop up i'm gonna make a plan and get Amd R290X
