This is rather messed up, although I dont think the Chinese goverment realises how many gamers they just ****ed of... It wont belong before we see some cyber revenge.

Why do you think all Cyber Punk dystopian stories are set in either China or Japan? Thats some pre-cog **** right there.

I dident say all and my statement is only targeted towards the Chinese because the article happens to be about China banning wow.

If any goverment p1sses off a large number of people, the people will seek retribution. The fact that it will be some form of cyber revenge is inherent to the wow demographic.

More wow players would have knowledge of web based exploits and vunrabilities than the Tibetain monks who are currently and have been for a long time been oppresessed by the Chinese goverment.

You make due with the skills you have. The Chinese goverment has a history of oppression and human rights violation and the day is comming when its all just going to be to much and people take a stand. I'm simply saying that banning wow is another step closser to that stand.

I doubt the banning of World of Warcraft is much of a step towards the overthrowing of China's government when situations such as Tibet and world leaders being against it isn't enough to deter them, lol.
