Hopefully the PC master race will look at the comparison picture at the bottom and realize the obvious. The next-gen console version > PC version.

Well, the one thing I can see is that it the PC version must be much more difficult since Lara has a lot more blood on her face. Obviously had to kill a lot more enemies getting to that point in the game

    Probably not today.

LOL - yeah, the whole bloody Lara in the top pic wasn't exactly the "direct comparison" that I was hoping for. I still think this new console version looks better though. And I'm not a console fanboy at all. I own all 3 current platforms and actually have the PC version of the game.

I'll reserve judgement until we get to see 1080p comparisons. If the console version turns out to be superior, I hope they'll release a definitive PC version as well. I haven't yet purchased Tomb Raider and I won't mind getting the best looking version with DLC included.

Minus Anti-aliasing, which is a performance intensive, yet very important graphics feature. Here's a few pics where you can see more than a few jaggies all over the place. I'm linking to them rather than posting them, because they're all pretty big.

I'm no PC fanboy, but I don't think saying the Definitive Edition looks better than the PC version means much when you've got something as important as AA disabled. I'd rather play a game on Medium with AA enabled than on Ultra with AA disabled.
