There's a big difference in getting it on Friday, so you have a whole weekend to dive into Bioware's masterpiece. Now, you get it on Monday. You get to play a little after work, enough to reel you in, hook line and sinker. Then, you have to sit the whole day at work (whole week in this case) pondering on the game, probably spending the better part of it on some DA:O related forum or game site =) <-- Nothing I (and my boss) hate more than this.
Why not now? Grrrrbuy Dragon Age through STEAM’s download service will have access to it on Saturday November 7

On the upside, you are getting the sweet collector's boxed copy. TBH, I think I may even order a boxed collectors even though I have the Steam edition. To quote a certain Gamespot reviewer, "It's THAT good!".To think I'd be playing it right now.
