Pleasantly surprised, good fun and pretty old school, although the quest system is a mix between GW2 and traditional. The skill system is pretty tough to figure out, will get there.
My biggest gripe: telegraphs are too quick for us post 40 year old + 300ms people as well as hard to spot on the ground. It looks to be a standard in all new MMOs now, hate it.

I see the people are having a fit about the preorder/imp ed items only being available to one character. That's kinda lame.
The 5 day access code I bought has nothing except a mara scroll. Not too stressed, when I put my real account number in once I get the box I will get my little pre-order goodies. I have learned that getting excited about those is a very short lived feeling in MMOs.

Yeah, very lame. A number of people have accepted their pre-order stuff from the mail and then deleted those characters, thus losing everything.
Bit stupid on the devs' part since people are bound to create and delete multiple characters until they're happy.
They'd better sort it out. It leaves a foul impression in the minds of those who took the plunge to pre-order or order their pricier editions.
Does that include the character in any alliance? That's kind of relevant since I'll be playing with buddies and I doubt we'll all want to play races from the same alliance.
Not sure, but if i had to take a guess from the responses i would say that faction doesn't mater. 1 character and its gone.
As long as they don't accept the items in the mail, they can delete the character without problems--the mails will remain even with a new character. However, if the items have been retrieved and the character is deleted before depositing the items into their bank, then the items will be irretrievably gone.
I can imagine customer support being inundated with complaints about this, and for damn good reason.
The game, however, is great fun
