Default PlayStation Now: feasible for South Africa?

PlayStation Now or never for South Africa?

PlayStation Now is an intriguing service – but is it feasible for deployment in South Africa?

I thought it was an intriguing concept, But until we have cheaper, more reliable internet options, only the few that can afford the top tier uncapped packages will benefit.

I doubt it's feasible in our country, but I certainly would like to see a local server setup if possible. As it stands I will just hold on to my PS3 for the time being.

Agreed on this, and same reason I'm holding on to my PS3. As it is I've got quite a backlog on the PS3 so the old faithful is getting more playtime than the new one.

Edit : And with PS+ there is at least one PSN service that is worth the money and actually works. So my PS3 will be getting playtime for quite some time.

The data centers are to far away and you will need uncapped to use it.

Yeah without a local server the lag will kill the gameplay. Plus how many people in SA have 5Mb connections?

But hopefully sometime in the future it will work here.
