Who still enjoys the GT series?
GT1-3 were incredible, I bought 5 hoping it would bring back the nostalgia but it just felt lacking. The Forza brand has seriously cut into that market and I'm not sure if I'd ever go back to GT, it just doesn't cut it...the DLC prices are a whole other demon too.
LOL, dude you got it all wrong. I'm not a GT fanboy. I don't even play the game. Like at all. It bores me to death. Both Forza and GT are good games, I have never said otherwise. I only said that what I heard from people who play these games (and are petrolheads) is that GT6 is the better game out of Forza 4, GT5 and GT6. Since none of them have an Xbone I can't comment on how Forza 5 compares.
Hahahahahaha m8 i was just busting your chops due to the other thread so no biggie my cousin brought his back for the holiday(xbone 1) and forza rips GT6 more than a few new ones the game is just amazing and seeing that i play with the wireless steering wheel it's like a glove.
But back to the car i think that Forza will most prolly have it lined up somewhere along the line in one of their 6 million planned DLC's
Hehe, no worries dude. I'm well aware that you were just messing with me. Still, just putting it out there that I'm not a fanboy.
I don't think Forza will actually get the car, as far as I'm aware it's part of the Vision Gran Turismo project. I'm pretty sure all of the cars in this project will be exclusive to GT6. And in case it hasn't been mentioned before or people aren't aware, all these cars will be made available as DLC free of charge.
Some more reading regarding the FT-1.
A little excerpt from that article:
The game design studio eventually pulled data from the 3D models to build in-game versions of the sleek concept car. For the first time, Calty designers were able to actually see one of their models in motion before it went into production. "Gran Turismo is somewhat of a simulator, so it allows us to see the car in its environment," says Shen. "That was one thing that was missing, because these are static models, and this is a dynamic car." The initial game model was actually built in Gran Turismo 5, since GT6 wasn't yet completed while the car was being designed. It was an especially useful tool when it came to selling the concept to Toyota headquarters in Japan — instead of a standard model, Calty had a playable demo perfect for conveying the emotional impact they hoped the FT-1 would create. Luckily for them, Toyota president and CEO Akio Toyoda, an accomplished race car driver himself, is a bit of a GT fan. "Akio actually drove the car when we presented it to him," explains Hunter. The concept was soon approved (though Toyota has provided no hints as to whether the FT-1 could eventually be commercialized).
