There's still life in those old consoles

I am so ridiculously keen on Titanfall and I am a Playstation fan... Will have to see what the specs are like and if i can play it on my PC...

My PS3 is still doing me proud though, and I doubt that will change for at least the next 6 months... PS+ seems to have added alot of life to the PS3 as well...

Last time I saw a PS2 on a pricelist is was for R999 (excl VAT). Don't see them any more, so maybe they are going for a bit more now because of scarcity?

I bought my PS3 slim in October for R2600. 320GB model, CFW, one controller and one game. Was a good deal ;-)

ps2 will never be scarce i think sony sold close to 160 million units last time i checked

that is the most overproduced console ever and spare parts are easy to find

Only one I'm looking forward to is Watch Dogs, and even with that I feel like I should rather wait until I am able to get the PS4 version. After FF XIII-3: Lightning Returns releases next month I have nothing to look forward to on the PS3 until I get my hands on a PS4.

Yeah, I'd hold onto my old console for some time to come. Still plenty awesome games to come. With the new consoles the only reason I'd get one is if I got one for a bargain (which I did), or if I could win one (which I probably wouldn't). And with plenty of guys jumping on the PS4 bandwagon, they are flogging their PS3's for cheap, sometimes with a nice bundle of top games. Just have to browse the gaming forums for these deals.

But will also get myself the PS4 later this year, when prices drop ( despite the hike happening soon) Really want to pay R5999 for one, anything more is overpriced.
