    Well that explains a lot seems i went off at my isp for the wrong reasons today. guess i'll have to mail them and apologize.

    Afrihost has gone slow with gaming now 508 ms thought I was using Telkom by mistake had to check twice .

    Telkom has gone from 600 ms to 200 ms lol

    First downtime for 2014, many more to follow for the rest of this year. I Lost count how many times this cable was "broken" in 2013

    Articles like this always instill an otherworldly kind of fear in me. I just can't deal with slow Internet and these outages also always take weeks to resolve.

    Afrihost has been fine today and Telkom went to high latency again lol its like a seesaw

    Iirc they use both cables. Well, that's what their add says anyway. Still, the congestion on SAT3 is going to be insane.

    They seemed to be alright earlier today with 200 ms have not tried tonight hopefully they still 100% fine .

    I had no issues, either - connected fine to CS:GO comp games (average 170ms). Tried out Hellkom again, and my ping was so kak, couldn't even connect, so had to play on the local servers.
