Next-Gen Call of Cthulhu Game in the works for PC and Console.

Anybody who, first hand, experienced their sphincter aggressively clutching the seating of their chair while playing the first game will be happy to know that we're getting a sequel!

Frogwares is currently developing a new game called Call of Cthulhu for the PC, and next-gen consoles. Focus Home has released five pictures (seen below), the very first of the production art for this new title, showcasing what potential environments they have in store for us. Notably, Frogwares does not make action games, rather Frogwares is known for their various adventure titles including multiple Sherlock Holmes games, hinting that this upcoming Lovecraftian horror will most likely be more cerebral than visceral. At the time of this writing, however, no further details have been released though we should expect to be hearing more in the coming days/weeks.

Massive fan of the Cthulu Mythos. Dark Corners of the Earth is one of my favourite games ever. I remember there was a sequel / another game in production years ago but it got binned. This is great news.

These survival horror type Amnesia style are becoming quite prevalent nowadays.. and I'm liking it

I would love an HD remake of the first game, it was incredible bu looks very dated. Would pay good bucks to play it again in HD.

I nearly bought Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth during the Steam sale over Christmas. This looks very interesting.
