What if they have real stock with real prices and we all thought it was a scam and didn't buy anything. Because we are scared that 5k is too cheap for a console so it must be a scam, so we rather pay 7k for everything. Makes you think.

But then again no mention on guarantees, etc and could be illegal/stolen goods or exact replicas of the originals.

It is possible, but I don't think that they could have already stolen a xbox in south africa, maybe in another country, but not here because I have never seen a console here except at rage expo last year.

Have any of you guys called this "compony" and hear about the consoles?

Nope. Takealot.com is locally hosted through Internet Solutions. Just because a site has a .com domain doesn't mean it's hosted internationally.

Yes, the .com just says its a corporations or whatever, kalahari.net is about the same as takealot but has a .net at the end. Doesn't matter nowadays.

It's already been confirmed as a scam. Here's the post from earlier in this thread.

    So, yeah. Scam. Stay away.
The only thing that will happen when you buy a console from these guys is that you will sit waiting for a console that you're never going to get from them.

Yeah I would be very cautious of any site/shop selling supposedly brand new consoles for way under the normal selling price.

Agg I won't even get a picture of a xbox one, why be so cruel, thanks for the warning, I really hope that the price drops, and soon. Love this thread by the way.

We should have a thread like this for general (legit) scams people know about.

I've fortunately not been burned by them yet, I bought my iPod in the UK and my iPad as well. The iMac was bought by my previous company so I'm clear of that. I do remember me saving a couple hundred on my 120Gb iPod buying it in the UK.
