Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition PS4 and Xbox One Has Different Devs

Bleh...GPU and platform argument. I hate those.

I am pretty happy that I didn't play the original release of this game, because having seen the comparison of the two platforms, I would much rather hold out and get this when I eventually do have a PS4.

Honestly i'm perfectly happy that I played it on PC. The performance jump doesn't look large enough to make me desire to purchase a new console for the express purpose of playing the DE.

Technical jargon aside - it comes down to marketing and public perception. It doesn't matter if the XBONE is housing an unobtainium core made of kitten dreams - as long as bad press like this keeps coming out, they can forget about it. The PS4 is kicking XBOX ass from here to Neverwinter.
