We get that, but this argument rely on the belief that the PS4 development will stay static while XBone would improve, which we know is not true.

Both will improve as the developers optimize their code for the systems. So Xbox will mostly if not always lag behind.

I have only ever owned PlayStation, but with the "Next Gen" machines I decided i would seriously consider which machine i go for, as i was impressed with the 360... Not to say i wasnt impresses with the PS3, but all my mates went with X-Box, and that kinda sucked...

So now with all of this coming to light, It seems that the PS4 is the better Gaming Machine, where as the X-Box one is the better media center... For us in SA our infrastructure isnt really where it needs to be for streaming media, so if the PS4 is the better gaming machine, then thats where i will spend my money...

My exact same stance. I'm really sad things turned out the way they did - I feel insulted actually.

To be fair to MS gamers like us are not their primary demographic. We are periphery target group at best; and at worst not even a blip on their radar. So they really don't care about non-1st world at this stage

That's not fair, nor is it new news

What we're arguing is exactly what you said.

Yip... We probably dont even account to 1% of the world wide sales to both MS and Sony when it comes to consoles...

What makes the PS4 a clear winner in my opinion (Besides the fact that I am a Sony fanboy ) in the 60fps.

Play CoD and then BF3 on console, which feels better? CoD. It's not something you really notice if you haven't played at 60fps, but once you have you can't help but feel like there's something not quite right with a 30fps game. The sole reason why I enjoy BF4 as much as I do is due to the fact that it runs at 60fps (Was on console before) making the experience so much better for me.

So I think it is a big deal.

Agreed; Whenever people argue that 60fps gaming is irrelevant hasn't played 60fps. I wonder though if MS and Sony are focused on making 60fps the new standard. Or perhaps if the decision of which platform to buy a game for will come down mostly to which version has 60fps

    At 1080P 60fps > 30fps.

It's that simple. Press statements like these only make MS look like sore losers at this point. They should rather keep quiet and put some cards on the table. If they can make Forza 5 play at 60fps at 1080P - why can't they keep up with other PS4 cross-platform titles doing the same?
