A new Gears of War game announcement is expected in 2014 as Epic Games sells the rights to the franchise to Microsoft

Halo and Gears are nothing alike... That would be similar to saying oh Ubi released another third person, stealth clone, or Maxis released another real-world clone and don't even mention Blizzard!

I'm aware I am exaggerating it's just that almost every time Microsoft gains or announces an exclusive title it looks almost like the exact same game (guys in metal suits with big guns). I'm not a hater, I have an Xbox 360, I would just prefer more varied exclusives which I don't see Microsoft attempting to get.

And I'm not implying all the games ARE the same, it's just that on the surface they LOOK cut from the same cloth.

I don't particularly like M$ but Gears is an awesome game. I would love to get then on PC.

i think its good news, lets hope black tusk can pull of what 343 did with the halo franchise
