Tomb Raider Definitive Edition is being put through the ringer – does PS4 or Xbox One come out on top?

My question is this: is the XBox One version still playable?

Is this designed (could be interpreted to mean "rigged") to be played on PS4 or did it just work out like that?

Designed as in intentional yes - the 30 and 60 are hard capped. Meaning the xbone could likely provide higher "max" numbers without the cap. The one chose higher frame rates, the other chose stable frame rates. Not rigged as in evil though.

TV interpolation should ensure that it is yes.

Well if we are all honest the PS4 version does look better overall; however the XBONE one seems less jittery. I agree with the article quote that a cap on the PS4 frames would benefit quite a lot. Perhaps a 45fps cap

Maybe this will help the Xbone a bit?
