Agang SA leader Mamphela Ramphele on Monday apologised for the unhappiness caused by her decision not to stand as the DA's presidential candidate, but said she made the right decision.

It looks like she was just wanting some attention. I'm not sure where the blame lies here. The DA for being so quick with the deal and announcing prematurely, or Ramphele for throwing her party under the bus.

She just lost all credibility,her word will always be questioned from now on.

How can anyone trust her in politics again? Listening to her interview on radio this afternoon and Tony Leon thereafter, it is obvious she was on her own talking to the DA and her party knew little or nothing about her discussions. Poor show from her. I expected so much more from her. Pity.
