That could just be it. I went back to check the PC news home page and it looks like the RSS feed on my phone. Most of the links to mygaming are from the mybroadband news feed. I guess, the unique edge might be gone. Previously I did feel visiting the site was a different experience and I wanted to see the take on news here.
