They should go back to their roots on this one. The 2D version of Worms was way better than the 3D. They can do so much, even on 2D, no?

    Agreed.

Not gonna bother with this. 2D is WAY more fun!

In fact, when I first played Worms 3D I found the controlling of the worms, camera angles and depth perception so hard, I deleted it (still got it on PC that time).

That 'fun' factor was missing from it. And that randomness... "Oh look there goes my Bazooka! Its going... going... turning... turning upside down... coming back this way... HEADING FOR ME... no no no! [squeak squeak squeak HIP *BOOM*]"

I have to disagree with the 2D one, the 3D ones is the one I remember the most at the end. Can remember playing Mayhem online and simply having a great time and great scenarios.

The real problem was in customization, removal of features and less and less and a badly configured control scheme (as bad as DotA legacy keys). Most people didn't even know about the birds eye cam you could use to judge the distance better.

People simply did not know how to play the game in 3D, but for the ones who stuck with it, kinda mastered it, it was brilliant. Swinging around a platform, throwing yourself in the air to try and land on top of a huge genie and making yourself home in his hat.

The game has great potential, but the developers are completely going the wrong direction. They should just drop the 2D, small stages, fixed amount of worms crap.

Starbound and Terreira, if you gonna do 2D, do it in an epic scale.

Worms Battlegrounds will be heading to PS4 and Xbox One in 2014, with no mention of other platforms.
    Meh! No PC! Sucks!

Worms: Revolution was terrible. I can't believe I wasted money on that piece of crap for PS3 Controls were clunky and very delayed, framerate was almost non existent and just didn't feel like a worms game. Worms Reloaded is probably the closest to a Worms 2 type game because was just the classic simple 2D but modern.
