Batman Arkham Origins: Blackgate, last year's 3DS and Vita spin-off of Batman: Arkham Origins, could be getting a release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
A page on the Xbox Games Store shows the game lists the game for release on March 25, which was spotted overnight by internet sleuth Lifelower. If the game is coming to Xbox 360, then presumably we can expect the game to also come out on PlayStation 3.
"Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - Deluxe Edition amplifies the 2.5-D game with new maps, enemy encounters, difficulty levels, batsuits, and enhanced visuals," reads the product description.
"A companion game to Batman: Arkham Origins, players can continue the storyline of the console version and discover more details of the Dark Knight's past. Featuring stealth gameplay, free-flow combat, and Batman's famed arsenal of gadgets, the genuine Arkham experience is reproduced in a deep, action packed side-scrolling adventure."
Batman Arkham Origins: Blackgate was developed by Armature Studios, which was founded by a trio ex-Retro Studios developers in 2008. The studio has also handled the Vita versions of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and Injustice: Gods Among Us.
"The first few hours of Blackgate provide an exciting glimpse of what might have been a great game, but it slowly falls apart, hour by hour, villain by villain," wrote Peter Brown in GameSpot's review of the original Vita version of Batman Arkham Origins: Blackgate.
