Default Kojima: PS4 is the Best

So to add more fuel to the PS4 vs. Xbone fire, MGS creator Hideo Kojima has indicated the PS4 is the clear winner:

Kojima: PlayStation 4 can render 1080p at 60fps with "room to spare"

Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima is a major PlayStation 4 supporter, saying in a new interview that Sony's new console is so powerful that it can render 1080p at 60fps with "room to spare." Kojima made the comments in a new "conversations with creators" interview with Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu (translated by DualShockers).

"I think, between the home consoles available in the domestic market, the PS4 is the best," Kojima said. "It's also excellent for graphics, being able to render 1080p at 60fps with room to spare. Since it does it a little better than other hardware, the image quality of the PS4 is the most beautiful. It's the closest to the photorealistic quality we are aiming at."

Kojima was careful in not making a direct comparison to the Xbox One, but it still appears the industry veteran is leaning towards Sony's camp in the battle between the two systems.

This isn't the first time Kojima praised the PS4, as he said last week that the PS4 version of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes looks "slightly better" on Sony's system compared to the Xbox One. Konami has yet to reveal the exact resolution of the game on PS4, but the publisher will release a trailer highlighting the differences in visual fidelity between the platforms soon.

Such lies With room to spare my ass lol

    Proof:

Witcher 3 “fairly close” to maxing out PS4 & Xbox One, PC specs teased
It follows the latest Witcher 3 trailer, and our own Witcher 3 interview, in which we ask CD Projekt RED just how far it’s pushing the new consoles.

Now, speaking with IGN, Iwinski discussed Witcher 3 development on PS4 and Xbox One, and explained, “It is extremely manageable. There is a lot of power in these machines, and I don’t want to say we’re using them to their capacity, but we’re fairly close to doing so.

“We made a decision to go next-gen roughly two and a half years ago, so we’ve spent a lot of time with these machines, and it’s been a great experience across all three platforms. On the old platforms, namely the Xbox 360 and PS3, we probably would have had to sacrifice nearly half of our vision.”

On the game’s PC specs, he teased, “(Laughs) We’ll be releasing that information soon, but you can already start saving up for an upgrade.”

From what you’ve seen so far, do you feel that these claims are on the money? Let us know below.

It can hit 60 fps but it can't maintain a constant 60fps.

Fuel to the fire, Ps4 has gone nuclear xbone has stalled out but seriously it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out the hardware advantage the ps4 has.The best news is Metal gear Ground Zeroes has more meat on the bone than previously thought.

Obviously Hideo would say such. He makes his money from PS4 after all

I wonder how high spec this game is going to be, frightened by the above statement.

I don't think it's really close to maxing out the PS4/Xbox One. When MGS 4 and Uncharted 2 released, they said the same things about the PS3. Then Uncharted 3 came along and then they said it again. Once they become more familiar with the development of the consoles, the optimization etc improves.

Mate have you ever played a Witcher game? They bring R30 000 pc's to their knees.
Consoles can't maintain 60 fps on high end games, just not possible with the hardware.

Haven't actually ever played any of the titles, but from what I've seen of the graphics I don't understand why it would require so much power. Are the worlds just really big?

Neah its incredibly beautiful and graphically insane.
Hard to explain really, you would have to play it on a high end machine to understand.

This is what I will say, The PS4 is a stronger console than the Xbox One on the hardware side of things, there is no denying that.
I have played on the PS4, it is amazing to think that tiny box can produce such gorgeous images and yes it is much better than the previous gen consoles, In fact its light years ahead.

It's one of those titles I've been meaning to check out but have never actually gotten around to it. Don't have a super high-end PC though
