You don't need a very high end PC for witcher 2. Its got some silly settings for image quality that you would need a high end pc for but that's really not necessary.

Its not necessary yes but its def not silly...It makes the game look and feel incredible.

Haven't actually ever played any of the titles, but from what I've seen of the graphics I don't understand why it would require so much power. Are the worlds just really big?

Just been confirmed Ps3 ,Xbox, 360 Xbone,are rendering in 720 with the xbone at 60 fps.Ps4 renders at 1080p and 60 fps.
