That happens to guys in cars also. Slow down to half the speed limit so he can re-act if you have to break. Then you can also take a pic using your mirror and phone.

I was on the freeway and had a guy do that to me, I braked slowly from 120 to 60 and he moved on.

That's the thing ike some don't do it they will keep on pestering you or even go around you and in front of you and some would slam the brakes and that's normally when a hijack situation occurs. So everybody deals with the situation different but if you have been hijacked to tend to be cautious (happened twice been shot once).

You do realize the only reason he was following you so closely & changing lanes to follow you was to provoke exactly the reaction you gave him? You open up to 220 and he "bravely" demonstrates that he can keep up by following you at 30cm.

Your initial post did not convey that, it seemed as if you will drive like that all the time. My apologies if I misread that.

Apology accepted i actually drive 98% of the time at a speed of 130km/h and it actually annoys some motorists on the highway, but i make way for anyone that wants to pass me at faster than 130km/h it is very seldom these days that you get people that actually drive 120hm/h on the highway.

And @Havoc it actually all started out by me driving 60 as i should in the Rustenburg cbd and he hooted at me and i waved for him to pass. But he didn't even attempt it he just stayed behind me. it went on like that till we hit the highway and that's when it escalated. So if you think i provoked him that's your opinion and i think your one of those people that generalizes and thinks all bikers are hooligans. Remember if i just decide to slow down he won't know it because i'm not braking to slow down i'm just letting go of the throttle so he will just run into me and that can be deadly to say the least.

Not all bikers have that awareness i have ridden with a few with none what so ever, but they way your coming on about what i did for my own safety feels like your attacking me for what i did when i'm only trying to explain my situation and why i did what i did i don't justify what i did but at that point i thought of my previous 2 hijackings and that makes you react different.
