I would argue that people who are socially defunct will engage in activities that are by and large antisocial. Single player games allow you to lock yourself in your room for days at a time without having to interact with anyone, and even online multiplayer games allow you to "hide in plain sight."
I would say sociopaths are drawn to games because of that inner darkness, rather than saying the games are creating that inner darkness.
Since when did SP games make you kill? Don't Fox know that it's lag that makes us kill? It's always lag...

I don't know why anyone takes Fox News seriously. They're a joke, so much so that SNL has a regular skit where they mock them openly. A couple of years ago it was "rock music", then it was "TV" and now it's "Video Games". Basically people will always try and find an excuse for their poor decisions. Just as long as, Heaven forbid, they're not accountable for it themselves.
Plus, if the media can sink their teeth into controversy, that's a boon. What if it turns out that people start killing other people because of all these negative, blood-thirsty articles that's all over the place? Will the media go as far as to blame themselves?
