I have to say that Dark Souls PC + DSfix + HD Texture Pack + Xbox Controller makes for the best looking version of Dark Souls. The devs did say they want to make a decent PC version this time which is why it's not being released the same day as the console versions.
No GFWL will already make it 100% better.

There are two reasons I decided to go with the PS3 version.
1) Waiting for PC release could be months, by which point tons of the secrets would have been outed.
2) As gorgeous as it looks on PC, hacking is likely going to be as big a problem as DS1 was on PC.
I know the only reason I am not getting it on ps3 is my blu ray drive bombed out and I am saving for ps4.
